What should I expect for our photoshoot?
After our pre-photoshoot consultation, we will get a date in the books for our photoshoot. Often times we find a park within 15 minutes of your location. We will scout the best lighting/aesthetic at the location and shoot a variety of photos with your pet. If you have any more questions contact us today!
How do I prepare for our photoshoot?
We will have a pre-photoshoot consultation on the phone or via video chat to discuss all possibilities for the shoot (location, wardrobe, etc.)
Should I prepare toys or treats?
Yes! We recommend you bring your pets favorite toy/snacks to the shoot to help guide and direct them as needed. Pets often have less patience than we do, so it never hurts to have some help!
What if my pet is rowdy?
That is NO PROBLEM! We deal with a variety of species and behaviors and have experienced it all. Our patient photographers can’t wait to capture memories with you & your pet!
Can I be in the photo with my pet?
For sure! Just let us know ahead of time. Rates, prints, locations, etc. can vary when human portraits are added to the order. We can absolutely accommodate to add anyone to the family photo!
Does my pet need to be groomed for the session?
Nope. It is always helpful to make sure your pet has a clean coat, often times a good brushing can help get your furry friend to be photo ready. We will also perform retouching on the final edits to remove any unnecessary dirt, leaves, eye gunk, etc.
When do I pay?
You will be charged 50% upon booking. This will act as a holding fee to secure the date, location, or any props for the photoshoot. The remainder of the payment will be made the day of the shoot.
How long will it take to receive final-edits/proofs?
Usually, final-edits/print-proofs will be made available within 1-2 weeks.
How long will it take to receive prints and products?
After you have selected prints or products you would like, you can choose which of final-edits/proofs you would like to be assigned to each product. All prints are custom made to order and are usually delivered within 1-2 weeks.
Can I order additional products after my photography session?
Yes! We hold on to digital files from your photoshoot on record for 6-12months in case you wish to order additional prints or products.
